Proby and an introduction to the rock musician Robert Tench and the band Gass (the house band at the Round House at that time). It was loosely adapted from Shakespeare's Othello and the character of Iago had originally been played by Jerry Lee Lewis in the US production which had closed in 1968. The London stage version of Catch My Soul opened at The Round House in December 1969 and shortly afterwards moved to the Prince of Wales Theatre in the West End in 1970. Posters from the original Round House production of Catch My Soul are rare. Fabulous 1960s psychedelic design by Russell/James Associates.
