NOTES: Isabel's a Jezabel was a British musical with music by the writer of 'Hair' Galt MacDermot and book and lyrics by William Dumaresq, based loosely on one of the Grimm's Fairy Tales, it centres around Isabel and her deep-sea lover, who spend their time copulating and arguing about bringing children into a world committed to death. After out-of-town tryouts, the musical premiered on 15 December 1970 in the West End at the Duchess Theatre, running for only 61 performances. Printed on silver foil. A very delicate, ephemeral item and very scarce.
CONDITION: Grade A. Rolled (but has been stored flat since new). Some residue from previous display in theatre at top edge of verso and a few slight creases, else fine. NB. The reflective, mirror-like surface of the POSTER make it difficult to photograph.
