NOTES:  The Latin Quarter was a review show by Robert Nesbitt featuring a mixture of song, dance and nude reviews similar to the Windmill's.  It ran for three years at the Casino from 1949 to 1951, with a different production for each year. The Casino was opened after the war by Emile Littler and was converted into a cinema in 1954.  It eventually became The Prince Edward Theatre.  These review shows were very popular and single-handedly were responsible for keeping the theatre open during the post-war years.  This POSTER was produced for a cast variation with Christian Selva appearing instead of Georges Guetary.  We are not sure which of these cast variations is the earliest but both were from 1949.

PROVENANCE: The Emile Littler/Patrick Selby collection.

CONDITION: Grade A. Single horizontal fold.  Slight edge creasing, else near Fine.
