NOTES: Very rare 40 x 30 quad POSTER for this Emile Littler Pantomime, stone litho printed by Eden Press, Birmingham. Charlie Cairoli, born in France, came to Britain in 1938 and with his bowler hat and red nose became one of Britain?s best-known clowns. He was the star of Blackpool?s Tower Circus for nearly forty years, and was internationally known in the classic tradition of clowning slapstick. Exact date of this POSTER is not known but it is circa 1950. Very few of these large format quad posters were produced and it makes an excellent and decorative display piece.
