TITLE: THE OLDEST PROFESSION
DATE: 1967
FORMAT: BRITISH Quad (30 x 40 inches)
STARS: Raquel Welch, Michèle Mercier, Jeanne Moreau. DIRECTOR: Claude Autant-Lara, Mauro Bolognini.
NOTES: A collection of sketches on prostitution through the ages written by Jean-Luc Godard. The French title was "Le Plus Vieux Métier du Monde". It was released in the UK by Miracle films (who were also responsible for handling Brigitte Bardot's first three films) and marketed with the emphasis on sex, rather than on its MORE worthy aspirations. Raquel Welch is given top billing on the quad but she actually appears well down the list on the credits, playing the part of Nini in the segment entitles "La Belle époque". It is a scarce quad and a difficult title for the Raquel Welch collector.
CONDITION: Grade A. Pinholes. Folded, as issued.
